With a new, redesigned SAT exam having debuted (首次推出) this spring, test anxiety is even more intense (强烈的) than usual among students hoping to attend American colleges and universities. Fear of the unfamiliar is sending some teens to expensive test-prep tutors. Others have decided to skip the SAT in favor of the ACT – another standardized exam that is accepted by almost all US universities as part of the admissions process.
