The British pound suffered a “flash crash” on Oct 7, *plunging more than 6 percent against the dollar in just minutes. The currency of the UK and Northern Ireland has been on a downward trend since the outcome of the Brexit vote, but this was the biggest move since the *referendum on June 23. Experts say that the *massive *plummet could have been caused by computer trading programs, human error or a big market player making a large move.
