In the art world, artistic genres–Early Renaissance, *Baroque, Realism, Impressionism–are usually unified by an *aesthetic idea or host of influences, with most art pieces displayed in art galleries or fairs following this rule. However, “outsider art” seems to be an exception to the rule.
