With a rebound and an assist in a matter of seconds in the third quarter of the NBA game on April 5, the point guard (控球后卫) for Oklahoma City Thunder, Russell Westbrook, matched Oscar Robertson’s 55-year-old NBA record with his 41st triple-double. A triple-double is when a double-digit number is scored in a total of three out of the five statistics (统计数据) in a game – points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocked shots – and is seen as a yardstick for a player’s performance. “I think he’s a very unique player because of what he can do in between the lines,” Thunder coach Billy Donovan told ESPN.
