La La Land Day in LA

La La Land won big and now it’s getting one more extra special commendation (表扬). Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti announced that April 25, 2017 is officially “La La Land Day” in Los Angeles in honor of the Oscar-winning film. The date coincides with the movie’s release on DVD and will be marked with a dedication (揭幕) ceremony on the steps of LA City Hall. The ceremony will feature a live jazz band, and dancers will perform a medley (集成曲) inspired by the film. Some notable (著名的) names will be there, including the movie’s director Damien Chazelle. |  |
