Where food programs once turned chefs (厨师) into stars, Chef Nic (《十二道锋味》) turns stars into chefs. Hosted by singer and actor Nicholas Tse (谢霆锋), the reality TV show has already had its third season broadcast on Zhejiang Television since its premiere (首次播出) in 2014. Tse’s talent in cooking was even recognized by the Michelin Guide when he was bestowed the honor of becoming the first recipient (获奖者) of the Friend of Michelin award last year. But that’s not enough. The program is heading to the international stage. The US television network Fox will work with the 36-year-old for an English version of Chef Nic, which will be shown on Fox channels and the National Geographic channel. It will also be available online, reported Tencent. The company announced the news at the 2017 Asia-Pacific Video Operators Summit (APOS, 亚太视频运营商峰会) in Indonesia at the end of last month. Tse was a special guest at the dinner party and said he felt honored and happy to work with Fox.
