Last month, eight young volunteers and two teachers from our school paid a visit to a rural school in Guangde, Anhui.
At the beginning of this year, our school introduced a program for eighth-graders. The program encourages us to help others. I took part in a video teaching program run by Stepping Stones, a charity that supports poor children in China. The volunteers of the program use a video link to teach English to left-behind children (留守儿童) in rural areas.
