China plays part in setting World Records

As one of the world’s most famous publications, Guinness World Records was created in 1954 after the manager of the Irish brewery (啤酒厂) named after the Guinness family got into a debate over which was the fastest game bird in Europe. It was this discussion that inspired the man to compile (编写) a book to settle such debates in pubs. |  |
