Shenzhen education authorities announced on May 12 they would disqualify (使丧失资格) 32 students from Shenzhen Fuyuan School for taking this year’s gaokao in the city, after they were found to be “gaokao immigrants (高考移民)”. It refers to those who lack household registration (户口) or student status in a province but still attend the gaokao in that province. |  |
