Seagulls (海鸥) are daring (胆大的) birds. They are not afraid of people. If you have food in your hands, they will fly over and take it away from you. But a new study has found an easy way to stop the gulls – just look at them. Reserchers from the University of Exeter, UK, studied 27 gulls. Their findings show that when you look directly (直接地) at the birds, it takes them 21 seconds longer to take away your food.
