1997年香港回到祖国怀抱

During the 19th and 20th centuries, the Qing Dynasty government (清政府) lost wars to Britain. It signed many unequal treaties (不平等条约). With these treaties, Britain started its colonial rule (殖民统治) in Hong Kong (香港).
