“假画”也这么值钱？

 

On Nov 14, a painting showed up at a French auction house (拍卖行). It was sold for 4,301,760 yuan! Wait, isn’t it the Mona Lisa (《蒙娜丽莎》)? Did someone steal it from the Louvre (卢浮宫)? Don’t worry. This is not the real Mona Lisa. It’s just a copy (复制品) of the famous painting. But it is still valuable (有价值的) because it was painted in the 1600s. This 400-year-old painting is an antique (古董) now.
