I recently talked with my parents about whether (是否) friends should have the same hobbies. My parents think friends need to have the same hobbies. Otherwise, they will have nothing to talk about. My dad and his friend Mr Li are both interested in investing (投资). They like to talk about stocks (股票). But in my opinion (想法), friends can have different hobbies, like my friend and me. He likes playing football and I like playing the clarinet (单簧管). But we like to talk about each other’s hobbies. We always enjoy our chats.
