A young talent has shown the world once again that he is definitely a Go grandmaster. On Nov 3, Chinese Go player Ke Jie, 23, took the throne in the 25th Samsung World Go Masters final, defeating another top-ranked player Shin Jinseo of South Korea 2-0. This marked his second win over Shin and made him the youngest Chinese Go player to hold eight world titles. “My performance today was OK, but I made many mistakes midway. I almost lost the second frame (局) and prepared for the third, but [Shin] was too nervous in the crucial stage ... I finally came back to win, and I was lucky,” Ke told CGTN.
