US journalist Larry King died at age 87 on Jan 23, bringing a sense of loss to those in the field and fans worldwide. The legendary talk show host started his broadcasting career in 1957. He was best known for hosting Larry King Live (《拉里·金现场》) on CNN from 1985 to 2010. During this period, King interviewed many celebrities and politicians, including every sitting US president from Gerald Ford to Barack Obama. “The news of the passing of Larry King felt like a punch to the gut ... If anyone asked me what are my greatest career achievements in life, one is the creation of CNN, and the other is hiring Larry King,” CNN founder Ted Turner said in a statement.
