Call Me By Fire has become an instant hit. The reality show, which first aired on Aug 12, features 33 male celebrities ranging from ages 27 to 57. After the first two episodes were released, a group of five immediately attracted public attention: Jordan Chan, Julian Cheung, Edmond Leung, Jerry Lamb Hiu-Fung and Michael Tse. All of them are in their 50s. For many viewers, the group’s appearance reflected a sense of nostalgia (怀旧) and awakened reminiscences of their youth. They are all from Hong Kong and played many impressive roles in classic dramas and films, such as crime film series Young and Dangerous (《古惑仔》). One of the most talked-about performances, performed by Jordan Chan, Jerry Lamb and Michael Tse, was the theme song from the series. Additionally, viewers were also amused by the old friends bantering (逗趣) with each other.
