China will build the world’s largest national park system, said Li Chunliang, deputy head of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, at a news conference on Sept 19. The system is expected to be built with “the largest scale (规模) of protection, the most diverse geographical features and the highest conservation (保护) value in the world,” China Daily reported.
