We use pencils to write and draw. But in the hands of Japanese artist Sohshi Hirata, pencils become artworks. He carves out of the tips (尖端) of pencils. On April 20, his miniature sculptures (微型雕塑) were on show in Fukuoka City. The works included a rabbit, a love heart and a lock.
