Editor’s note: Since esports was seen as an official sport by the General Administration of Sport of China in 2003, it has ushered in a golden period of development in China. Just in a short two to three years, esports has become a “mind sport” with a wide coverage and a large number of participants in China. In 2022, esports was officially included in the Asian Games,which makes esports more popular in China. China’s esports industry is ranked first in the world in terms of output value, number of users, and development speed, making China the largest esports market globally, the Paper reported.
