Studio Ghibli, Japan’s animation studio, co-created by Japanese film directors Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata and producer Toshio Suzuki, was acquired by Nippon Television Network Corp. According to Studio Ghibli, this is because the founders are old and there was no one to take their place.
