The Shenzhou XVII astronauts started their space mission (任务) on Oct 26. Their spaceship took off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. On the spaceship are three astronauts: Tang Hongbo, 48, Tang Shengjie, 33, and Jiang Xinlin, 35. Their spaceship then joined with the Tiangong space station. They will do science studies and tests in space, as well as spacewalks. The Shenzhou XVII team, on average (平均地), has the space station’s youngest astronauts.
