In celebration of the Hot 100’s 65th anniversary (周年纪念), on Oct 19, US entertainment media Billboard released its staff-ranked picks for the 500 best pop songs of all time. Since 1958, Billboard has been keeping tabs on what’s hot in music with its flagship Hot 100 Chart. The 500 are “the songs that we most think of when we think of what pop music could and should be,” wrote the Billboard website. The top three went to Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody, ABBA’s Dancing Queen, and The Temptations’ My Girl.
