On April 16, the United Arab Emirates (UAE, 阿联酋) experienced a record-breaking rainfall event. This caused flooding (洪水) in Dubai. Some people said this happened because of cloud seeding (人工降雨), which the UAE has been doing for a long time. However, scientists said the cloud seeding wasn’t the reason according to how it works.
