On May 11, 2024, the Global English Education China Assembly (TCA) Special Topic Symposium, themed “English Education and Language Literacy in the Context of Theory and Practice”, was held successfully in Shantou, Guangdong province. This symposium, jointly organized by TCA organizing committee and the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) of Shantou University (STU), aimed to delve into the correlation between English education and language literacy, emphasizing their innovative integration in practical applications.
