Eyes on the future: Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, demonstrated the company’s augmented reality (AR) glasses called Orion during the Meta Connect event held in California, US, on Sept 25. Made from magnesium alloy (铝合金) and equipped with built-in chips, the Orion glasses blend (融合) virtual elements with the real world as if they were seamlessly (无缝地) integrated. The glasses can be controlled by voice commands. With Orion, you can message or call your friends and family without touching your phone. Meta plans to make the glasses smaller and more affordable before releasing them to the market.
