On Sept 22, Ely Cathedral (伊利大教堂) started its yearly animal service (宗教仪式) in the UK. It was a celebration for all kinds of animals. Dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters (仓鼠) and even a little horse and a donkey (驴) joined this event. During the event, people gave thanks to the animals. There was also a choir (合唱) to celebrate animal life. The event also showed thanks to guide dogs (导盲犬), therapy dogs (治疗犬) and dogs in the military (军队) and police stations. The pets and their owners had a great time there, and some dogs even sang along to the songs.
