On Oct 17, a mock court (模拟法庭) event took place at a middle school in Altay, Xinjiang. In the mock trial court, students took on roles such as judge (法官) and defendant (被告). They followed steps like trial preparation and courtroom debate (辩论). The whole trial was based on a real juvenile criminal case (未成年人刑事案件), allowing students to experience the fairness of the law firsthand.
