Welcome home: NASA astronaut Suni Williams was helped out of the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft after she and her fellow astronauts landed on the water in Florida, US, on March 19. Williams and another astronaut, Barry Wilmore, had been “stuck” at the International Space Station (ISS) for nine months. Their trip in June 2024 was meant to last just over a week. However, due to technical issues, their Boeing Starliner spacecraft was sent back to Earth without them. The SpaceX rescue mission was launched on March 14 to bring the pair home.
