Garden Party is a song by US rock star Ricky Nelson, released in 1972. The song tells the story of how he felt when people didn’t like his new music at a concert. Nelson was a famous singer and actor in the 1950s and 60s. He was one of the top teenage idols of his time and the first artist to reach No 1 on the Billboard chart. In 1987, he was honored by being added to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
