Middle school students in the Golog Tibetan autonomous prefecture (果洛藏族自治州), Qinghai, are enjoying their school lunches. The prefecture has been spending over 30 million yuan each year to make sure students eat better. Now, 360,378 students living at an average altitude (平均海拔) of 4,200 meters get free healthy meals with fresh meat, eggs, fruits and vegetables.
