The 46th Annual Conference of the American Translators Association (ATA) will be held November 9 to 12 in Seattle, Washington, US. The conference will feature over 150 educational sessions and exhibits of the latest services, and opportunities to network with over 1,200 translators and interpreters from around the world.

ATA was founded in 1959 and is the largest professional association of translators and interpreters in the US. It has over 9,000 members in over 75 countries. ATA's primary goals include fostering and supporting the professional development of translators and interpreters and promoting the translation and interpreting professions.

The annual ATA Conference is an essential event for professional development appropriate to the needs of translators and interpreters. It offers a series of educational sessions for different languages. And it has a variety of specializations including medicine, finance, terminology, and more. The speakers come from all over the world and volunteer to share their experience and expertise with all participants.

All freelance translators and interpreters attending the annual conference can participate in the Job Marketplace at the conference. They get an opportunity to market their services by displaying their resumes, brochures, and business cards, while meeting with owners and managers of participating language services companies.
