Bridgestone Corporation announced on November 16 it has developed the world's largest tyre and will begin marketing it in 2002. The tyre for dump trucks stands 4.02 metres tall and measures 1.47 metres across. Shown with the world's largest tyre is a tyre for Formula One racing cars.
