Organizer information
The Pacific Second Language Research Forum was founded in 1992. It is a venue for data-based and theoretical papers on areas of basic research in SLA.
The special emphasis of PacSLRF is on SLA work in the Asia-Pacific region. It maintains a steering committee responsible for selecting sites for the meetings. Each meeting is organized and run by the host institution and is self-supporting. Members of the current steering committee are from Manoa, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and China. Previous meetings were held respectively in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the US.
