Background information
Founded in 1967 by the Modern Language Association of America, the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) is the only US-national organization dedicated to the improvement and expansion of the teaching and learning of all languages at all levels of instruction.
ACTFL's Annual Meeting and Exposition is the only national event bringing together language professionals from all levels, all assignments and all languages to learn together. Over the past 30 years, the ACTFL has become synonymous with innovation, quality, and reliability in meeting the changing needs of foreign language educators and their students.
During this conference, over 300 exhibitors, from book publishers to technology companies and instructional aids, will be showcasing new and existing products in the exhibit hall.
