中学英语课堂“热身”法（三）

娱乐、活泼的热身活动——“笑话”（采用听写的方式）有助于学生锻炼思维技巧，并让其掌握语言加工的方法。 目的: 可在高年级学生中开展,促使学生掌握处理语言的技巧。 在听力和写作训练过程中,帮助学生锻炼思维能力。 营造生动、活泼的课堂氛围。 步骤: 为将开展的“听写笑话”活动做铺垫:告诉学生，今天老师感冒了，总咳嗽，所以在听写笑话的过程中，如听不清，必须去猜词。 教师朗读笑话时，在适当的时候咳嗽一下，跳过一些单词。比如:Eleven people were (cough) on a rope, under a helicopter, ten men and one (cough). 学生必须猜测所缺的词汇，将整段笑话填充完整。学生可两人一组，也可单独完成该活动。 教师公布正确答案后，针对该故事组织讨论，让学生指出该笑话的幽默所在。 可让学生试着用英语讲述自己所知道的笑话。 笑话举例: Eleven people are hanging on a rope, under a helicopter, ten men and one woman. The rope is not strong enough to carry them all, so they decide that one has to leave, because otherwise they are all going to fall. They are not able to name that person, until the woman makes a very touching speech. She says she will voluntarily let go of the rope, because as a woman she is used to giving up everything for her husband and kids… “横向思维”的热身活动可让学生巩固单词，以及训练疑问句句型的使用。 目的: 引导学生思考 练习疑问句句型的使用 巩固词汇 步骤: 告诉学生，老师将讲述一些奇怪的事情，让其猜测、分析到底发生了什么事情。 学生可就情景提问，老师只能用yes/no/maybe回答。 教师从事先准备的几种情景中选择一个讲述给学生，并确认学生是否听懂了。 第一个猜出事情“真相”的即为赢家。 可将学生分为两人一组、三人一组或多人一组开展，便于交流讨论。以小组的形式能降低活动的难度。 教师参考情景: A woman had two sons who were born on the same hour of the same day of the same year. But they were not twins. How could this be so?(参考答案: They were two of a set of triplets or quadruplets etc.) A man is lying dead in a snowy field. There are no footprints to or from his body. The man has a pack on his back. How did he die?（参考答案: He jumped out of an airplane with a parachute on his back that failed to open.） |  |
