Background information
The Global English International Language Congress is a nonpolitical forum. It brings together ELT professionals from around the globe to collect, disseminate, and discuss English language teaching and learning in the international context. The congress aims to promote scholarship that will lead to improvements in the way English is both learned and taught.
This conference is hosted by the Asian EFL Journal. The journal examines issues within the Asian EFL linguistic scene and provides a forum devoted to discussions on English as an international language research and development.
