This column introduces the latest findings and posts news releases from world-famous English language teaching, testing and studying organizations to inform Chinese readers of developments in English language teaching. M.A.K. Halliday Scholarship offered by ALAA The M.A.K. Scholarship awards $1,000 for research projects in Applied Linguistics. Applicants must submit a two-page research proposal, including a statement of how the funds will be spent, a curriculum vitae and two references.
