This column introduces the latest findings and posts news releases from world-famous English language teaching, testing and studying organizations to inform Chinese readers of developments in English language teaching. JALT running auto renewal reminder test THE Japan Association for Language Teaching’s (JALT) automatic membership renewal reminder system, which uses a new database, is now ready for testing. The JALT will start testing this function in April for April 30 expirees. Should you receive a reminder in error or not receive one when you should please help the JALT by informing the organization as soon as possible. Please also note that if you have changed chapters recently you may, due to the program, receive a reminder in error. The JALT thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation while the organization works through some slight glitches in order to ultimately provide better membership services.
