TOEFL scores of South Korean test takers rise
韩国2007年托福考试平均成绩同比上升

Analysts said the increase was largely due to a decreased number of teenage South Korean test takers after foreign language high schools announced that they would no longer use TOEFL scores for selecting new students in April last year.
US ignoring foreign workers’ language barrier
美国调查显示提供员工语言培训的公司占少数
A NEW survey by the New York-based Conference Board, one of the world’s leading business membership and research organizations, finds that few US employers offer English-language training to help bridge the language barrier for immigrant employees.
