Filipinos' English proficiency improving 最新调查显示菲律宾人英语能力提升 A NEW survey released by the Philippines' Social Weather Station (SWS), a nonprofit social research institution, shows that Filipinos' English proficiency has improved over the past two years. The SWS study results attribute the improvement in Filipinos' English competence to greater awareness of the language, help from the Internet and market-driven factors. Japan to revise TOEIC score certificate 日本拟于明年修订托业考试成绩报告方式 THE Tokyo-based Institute for International Business Communication (IIBC), an organization involved with the TOEIC program in Japan, announced that the score certificate of TOEIC is to be revised. Scores for fluency, consistency, length of sentences, vocabulary, grammar, intonation, and listening will be added to provide a more exact analysis of examinees' speaking abilities.
