University of Oxford to offer courses
for English language teachers
UNIVERSITY of Oxford will offer a two-week course focusing on current developments in the English language and in English language teaaching from July 27 to August 9 2008 at the Exeter College of the University of Oxford.
Who should apply
This course is designed for teachers of English working at primary, secondary and tertiary level who are in search of ways of improving their English proficiency and want to keep up to date with developments in the English language and in ELT.
Lectures
Prominent figures and authors working in ELT, as well as Oxford academics, will cover a range of topics, some directly relevant to classroom practice, some more theoretical and thought provoking.
