I had to spend time each week feeding and cleaning up after them. I fed (喂食) the fish and changed their water several times a week. I cleaned the birds’ cages at least once a week. I gave the dogs baths. I walked them. Perhaps you can ask your mom for a fish. This will give you a chance to learn what it’s like to have a pet. Take good care of it and work hard on your homework.
