21st Century ELT Review's guide to English language teaching, testing and study organizations. THAILAND TESOL or ThaiTESOL for short, is a professional, non-profit and non-political organization. Its purposes are to promote English Language Teaching (ELT) practice and professionalism at all levels through organizing academic conferences and workshops, disseminate information and liaise with professional organizations with similar concerns in promoting research studies. Thai TESOL is for all English language teachers, educators, and managers from Thailand and all over the world whose major concern is to improve the standard of ELT practices at all educational levels and to keep themselves abreast of the latest ELT professional developments. Membership Thai TESOL members have access to numerous professional development schemes: * Literature and Literacy * Primary Teacher Development * Research * Self-Access Learning * Secondary Teacher Development * Primary Teacher Development * Gifted Education * Testing * English for Specific Purposes * Computer Education ELT teachers can apply for individual membership for one year, two years or life. Special rates for full-time students and retired teachers as well as an institutional rate for schools and universities are available.
