Dear Yichen,

If you want to have a good party, you need to have both food and fun. One of my favorites is called “Musical Chairs”.

Here’s how it works: invite 15 classmates to stand in center of the classroom and put 14 chairs in a circle. Ask your teacher to begin playing music from a CD player. When a song begins, all 15 students queue up (排队) and walk in a circle around the chairs. When your teacher suddenly1 stops the music, everyone should quickly try to sit in a chair. One person will be left without a place to sit, and he or she will be out of the game. Keep taking the chairs away until you have a winner2!

What you need:

1. Six celebrities’ (名人的) pictures.

2. Safety pins (别针).

How to play:

1. Before the party, divide the class into

(分成) six groups.

2.从每组中挑出一位同学。把六张照片分别别到这六位同学身后。除了这六位

同学，大家都可以看见照片。

3. Each person with the picture

can ask her/his teammates3 yes or

no questions to guess who is in the picture. For example:

— Am I a man or woman?

— Am I a sport star or a pop singer?

4. 裁判可以用秒表计时。哪队用最少时间猜出名人，哪队就获胜了。
