Australia to expand language learning 澳大利亚计划推进高校外语教学 WITH A$2.27 million ($1.56 million) in Australian government funding, the teaching of at least nine foreign languages will be rolled out in the University of Queensland, Griffith University and Queensland University of Technology in 2009. By then, students at the three universities will be able to major in Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish. None of these universities currently offer this range of languages.
