CHINA has fallen in love with the Ferris wheel in a big way. The cities of Beijing and Guangzhou are planning to build record-breaking versions of the classic carnival ride. The most recent announcement came from Guangzhou, which aims to open a Ferris wheel atop the 450-meter Guangzhou TV tower by 2010, the year the city hosts the 16th Asian Games. |  |
