Sociopragmatics and identity construction at work) * Kasia Jaszczolt, reader in linguistics and philosophy of language, University of Cambridge, UK (Speaking about time: Contextual inferences and pragmatic defaults) * Ingrid Piller, professor of linguistics, Macquarie University, Australia (Language learning, multilingualism and social inclusion) Registration fees * Before May 1, 2009 Members: 310 euros (about $410) Non-members: 350 euros (about $463) * Between May 1 and July 1, 2009 Members: 330 euros (about $436) Non-members: 370 euros (about $489) * On site Members: 350 euros (about $463) Non-members: 390 euros (about $515) Registration fees include preparatory conference expenses, the use of space and equipment, a conference bag and a set of abstracts, all coffee breaks and lunches on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. On-site one-day registration is possible at 50 percent of the above rates, but not for presenters of papers. Of pre-paid registration fees, 80 percent can be reimbursed if participation is cancelled in writing before July 1, 2009. No reimbursement is possible after that date.
