There is simply no easy way to learn a foreign language

RECENTLY I've been studying German. I never thought English was so easy until I took this course. Compared with German, English is much less confusing. The two languages have a lot in common but there are differences that are obvious in pronunciation and grammar. It's really hard for me to pronounce the “r” properly. To make things worse, the grammar nearly drives me crazy. There are so many rules to memorize. So the start of the journey hasn't been that good. But I think I'll keep at it, because I know now that there is no easy way to learn a language.
