PROFANITY may be far more common in US pop culture than it used to be. But it's still unwelcome in many workplaces, according to a new survey by SurePayroll Inc. About 75 percent of the 225 small business owners surveyed called bad language offensive and unprofessional. "While pop culture is saying it's more acceptable, small business owners say it's not," Michael Alter, president of SurePayroll, told Reuters.
