21st Century would like to acknowledge that in the article "Prepare for this test by watching sitcomes (sic)" published in the April 22nd edition, Professor Dr. John De Jong''s quotation that students can prepare for the test "simply by watching English-language sitcoms and films" was incorrect. Prof. De Jong did reveal that participants in the field test believe that in order to get a higher score in PTE Academic, candidates would need more exposure to real English including English language audio-visual and printed materials rather than test taking techniques. 21st Century would like to apologise for this error. |  |
